Asia Argento and Ashton Whitty

Ashton Blaise Whitty is an American actress who was born in Berkeley on the 1st October 1995. She is an actress of renown who was in Choices (2010). The Heart and Other Small Shapes (2006,) and Chrissie mayr's Content House.

Asia Argento was born in Rome, Italy, into a family of actors and filmmakers. Both professions she's been pursuing. As a young girl she began her acting career in Sergio Cittis Sogni e bisogni. In 1988, she was the lead role in Cristina Comencini's first feature film Zoo (1988) and as well as being part of Michele Soavi's ensemble in The Church (1989). She played Nanni Moretti's daughter later in the year for Red Wood Pigeon (also directed Moretti) (1989). Close Friends, written and directed by Michele Placido in 1992, was where Asia's career took off. As she grew older, playing girl roles, she went on to more complicated and mature characters. The film received a great reception during the Cannes International Film Festival. The film, Trauma (1993) the actress made her debut with her father, famed Italian horror director Dario Argento (her mother is one of his favorite actors, Daria Nicolodi, playing an anorexic girl in search for her parents' killer. The Phantom of the Opera is the third time she has collaborated together with the director's father. The others are Trauma and The Stendhal Syndrome. The year 1999 was the year that Asia began her film-directing career by directing Scarlet Diva (2000), in which she was the main actress and writer of the screenplay. In May of 2000, the film was released both in Italy and around the globe. The film was awarded a prize in the Williamsburg International Film Festival. Brooklyn.
