Asia Argento and Ashton Whitty

Ashton Blaise Whitty is an American actress who was born in Berkeley on the 1st October 1995. She is an actress of renown who was in Choices (2010). The Heart and Other Small Shapes (2006,) and Chrissie mayr's Content House.

Asia Argento was born in Rome, Italy, into a family of actors and filmmakers. Both professions she's been pursuing. As a young girl she began her acting career in Sergio Cittis Sogni e bisogni. In 1988, she was the lead role in Cristina Comencini's first feature film Zoo (1988) and as well as being part of Michele Soavi's ensemble in The Church (1989). She played Nanni Moretti's daughter later in the year for Red Wood Pigeon (also directed Moretti) (1989). Close Friends, written and directed by Michele Placido in 1992, was where Asia's career took off. As she grew older, playing girl roles, she went on to more complicated and mature characters. The film received a great reception during the Cannes International Film Festival. The film, Trauma (1993) the actress made her debut with her father, famed Italian horror director Dario Argento (her mother is one of his favorite actors, Daria Nicolodi, playing an anorexic girl in search for her parents' killer. The Phantom of the Opera is the third time she has collaborated together with the director's father. The others are Trauma and The Stendhal Syndrome. Giuseppe Piccioni's Condannato a nozze demonstrated Asia's intense way of acting. In 1993, she appeared as Arianna in the film Perdiamoci by Carlo Verdone di vista. It was a character so complex that she won the David di Donatello award for the best actress. Also, she was a part of the performance in the international ensemble of Queen Margot directed by Patrice Chereau. In 1995 Asia worked with Michel Piccoli to produce Peter Del Monte's Traveling Companion, for which she won a David di Donatello. Asia began directing for a career in 1994. The first film she directed was Prospettive. The film she made about her dad followed by Abel/Asia (1998) which was a movie which won an award at the Rome Film Festival and was each directed between 1996 and 1998. The year 1999 was the year that Asia began her film-directing career by directing Scarlet Diva (2000), in which she was the main actress and writer of the screenplay. In May of 2000, the film was released both in Italy and around the globe. The film was awarded a prize in the Williamsburg International Film Festival. Brooklyn. Anna Lou, her first child was born to her in the year 2001. She had directed several music videos. The year 2002 saw Asia appear as Jean-Marc Barr's co-star The Red Siren (Olivier Megaton) as well as Vin Diesel was the star of Rob Cohen's thriller action The Action. Asia has also been the writer of a number of stories that have been published in a variety of prestigious magazines
